Campers who attend CAMP ROCK will enjoy:

Camp Rock is a summer day camp for youth ages 6-13, with a C.I.T. Program available for youth ages 13-17. Campers meet each weekday at the Boys & Girls Club Main Unit on S. Lincoln and travel to our camp location on beautiful Lake Lemon for a day of safe, outdoor fun. Campers also experience weekly field trips and themed activities. Camp drop-off hours for 2010 are 7:30-9:00am and pick-up hours are 4:30-6:00pm.

    Wk 1 Jun 2-4: Busy in B'Town (OPENINGS AVAILABLE)

    Field trips & Events will include: Roller Skating, Bowling, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 2 Jun 7-11: The Science of Summer
    Field trips & Events will include: Indianapolis Children's Museum, Wonderlab, IU Chemistry Club, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 3 Jun 14-18: A Need for Speed
    Field trips & Events will include: Rascal Fun Zone, Bloomington Motor Speedway Tour, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 4 Jun 21-25: Sports Fanatic
    Field trips & Events will include: Indianapolis Indians Baseball Game, NCAA Hall of Fame Tour, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 5 Jun 28-July 2: The Great Outdoors
    Field trips & Events will include: McCormick's Creek State Park, IMAX Theater, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 6 July 6-9: Art Enthusiast
    Field trips & Events will include: Woodworking workshop, increased art program all week, Indianapolis Art Center (TBD), IU Outdoor Pool 
    Wk 7 July 12-16: A Blast from the Past (OPENINGS AVAILABLE)
    Field trips & Events will include: Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians, Monroe County Public Library, Weapons Display at Mather's Museum, Ice Cream Making, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 8 July 19 -23: Thrill Seeker
    Field trips & Events will include: Spring Mill State Park cave tour, Columbus Youth Camp high and low ropes courses, Fire Fighter Challenge event, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 9 July 26-30: Paws, Scales & Tails
    Field trips & Events will include: Indianapolis Zoo, Exotic Feline Rescue Center, Hunter's Honey Bee Farm, IU Outdoor Pool
    Wk 10 Aug 2-6: Wet N Wacky
    Field trips & Events will include: Paradise Island Indoor Water Park, Cascades Park, Bryan Park Pool
    Wk 11 Aug 9-13: Camper vs Wild
    Field trips & Events will include: Flatwoods Park, Day Trip with IU Outdoor Adventures, IU Outdoor Pool

    Don't forget to attend a 2010 PARENT MEETING! Parent meetings will be held May 15 from 10-11am and May 20 from 6-7pm. Come meet camp staff, ask questions, learn more and order merchandise! Families will also have the chance to complete About Me forms for their campers - these surveys will go directly to your child's counselor so that he/she gets to know your child even before camp starts!
